New
AP701
For
a long time there had been a space in the range of Deltec skimmers
for someone who wanted AP850 Performance but wanted to fit the unit
within a standard cabinet.
Now
there is a solution the new AP701.
The
AP701 produces a maximum level of air at 750 lts per hour but will
be more efficient in most aquariums turned down to 600-650 lts using
the tap. This is due to turbulence in the neck of the skimmer drawing
foam back into the body.
On
a low nutrient SPS tank however it should be possible to use all
of the air as the level of foam will normally be less.
The
general performance and suitability criteria of this model should
be classed as the same as the AP851

APF 851
(Saltwater Aquariums only)
The
largest of the single pump skimmers is ideal for people with sufficient
height inside or beside the tank or cabinet.
It
is the first of the models to be fitted with the more powerful Eheim
pump which is required to handle the longer column height.
The
skimmer must be supplied with water either by gravity feed from
the aquarium or via a separate pump.
The
European AP850 is fitted with 1 Eheim pump drawing in 600lts of
air per hour.
